Each Elite Shungite crystal is unique and has a different shape than the others. Some stones have mineral inclusions (red-brown streaks or light spots) that are mainly iron oxide or pyrite, naturally occurring in Elite Shungite. Typically, these deposits are not dangerous, even if the stone is used in water.

Due to its high carbon content, your new piece of Elite Shungite may leave a black residue on clothing, skin, or other surfaces. This is harmless and normal. The residue can be washed off most surfaces easily. Wiping the item with a soft, damp cloth will eliminate loose charcoal dust and reduce this effect.
